Toyota 86 MC GT300

The Toyota 86 MC GT300 (often referred as MC86 GT300) has been revealed in 2014 right before the Suzuka 1000km. Built on the Mother Chassis by Dome and having a GT-Association branded Nissan V8 (VK45DE) engine, this car has been proven to be competent as the VivaC team won with the 86 MC in the Super GT driver and team championship back in 2016.

The first 86 MC built has been funded by the Super GT organisers themselves, eager to see how the car will compete in the coming years.

The chassis is built in a similar fashion as Class One cars that allows smaller teams to afford this car at low cost. The concept of the mother chassis is to create as fast cars as GT3 at lower prices. The chassis is also capable to accomodate even EV power units.

The Toyota 86 MC GT300 is an essential part of Super GT of the past and current decade, with several teams using it such as; Team Mach, Hoppy, Team VivaC, UpGarage and Arnage.

This particular model is mostly based on the 2023 specification.
